Jeffery L. Pedue:
Jeffery's been with "The Barn Theatre" in Port
Sanilac since its inception in 1980. He has worked on nearly every
production, in every capacity from actor and techie to director and
producer. He has been a board member and a vice president. For the
past seven years, he has held the title of president. Jeffery has also
worked with "Richmond Center for the Performing Arts" for over 15
years. During that time, he acted as a board member, vice-president
and president. He currently owns his own production company,
"Stage1Productions" with long time friend and partner Bethany J.
Stahl.
Jeremy Stemen:
Jeremy has a diversified past in Radio,
Modeling and Acting (Film/TV). Jeremy graduated from Specs Howard
School of Broadcasting in Southfield, Michigan. From there he moved
to Ohio, where he worked as an on-air announcer for WKLM FM 95.3.
Next, Jeremy become a client and, later, an instructor of the Micheal-
Paul Agency. As a client, he did a variety of print work in Ohio and
New York. As an instructor, he taught classes in modeling, runway
and photography. Jeremy's television experience includes starring in a
national MCI commercial and as a cast member of a pilot for
MYTV20. His film credits include "Ocean of Pearls", "In Zero" and
"Displaced". "Ocean of Pearls" has been shown at numerous film
festivals around the globe, winning awards in Detroit, Los Angeles and
Toronto. Currently, Jeremy is a board member of "The Barn Theatre"
in Port Sanilac. He still does public speaking for different venues in
the area.
Richard DeShon:
Richard is one of three partners and founders
of The Thespis Group, a multi-dimensional agency. He began his career
in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he was cast in many leading roles from
Shakespearean to Contemporary. Eventually, Richard moved to New
York City where he studied film acting. Upon returning to Michigan,
Richard studied Human Psychology as an undergraduate and graduate
student at Wayne State University. Ultimately his goal was to enmesh
his knowledge of the human consciousness and the subsistence of film
and stage acting . Richard’s knowledge and experience in the industry
also includes program development, production, teaching modeling and
film acting. Along with his business partners Jeff Pedue and Jeremy
Stemen, he has developed and established the Blue Water Film
Festival (BWFF) in the city of Port Huron.
